Italian Sausage Soup
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 Lb. Wegmans Lean Mild Italian Poultry Links/Patties Removed From Casings
- 1 ½ cups Chopped Onion Chopped
- 5 cups Swanson Natural Goodness Chicken Broth
- 28 ounces Italian Dice Tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Chopped Basil
- 1 cup Wegmans Elbow Macaroni
- 1 Pinch Salt And Pepper To Taste
Heat oil over medium heat in 4 - 6 qt. stock pot. Add sausage & onions & cook, stirring occasionally with wooden spoon to crumble sausage, until onions are transparent.
Add broth, tomatoes and basil and bring to boil. Add macaroni and salt and pepper to taste. Reduce heat to low and simmer partly covered, til macaroni is tender, about 25 minutes.
